Initial Conversation
During our initial discussion, you will have the opportunity provide details in respect of your claim. I will list, ask any relevant questions, and provide you with an initial assessment of the viability of your claim. I will advise you of the process, the tests required to be successful in your claim and discuss funding your claim.
Investigation
If I believe your claim to have sufficient merit and as soon as you have returned the engagement documents, I will guide you through the process of investigating your claim. This may include obtaining medical records, expert opinions, witness statements, and any other supporting documentation.
Letter of Claim
If the medical evidence supports your claim, I will serve a formal Letter of Claim on the Defendant on your behalf. The letter will outline the details of your case, including the alleged negligence, the harm suffered, and the compensation sought.
Letter of Response/Settlement/Court Proceedings
If the Defendant admits liability in their Letter of Response, I will engage in negotiations in an effort to seek a fair settlement on your behalf. If the Defendant denies liability, I will consider issuing Court Proceedings and following the Court process.
