Terms and Conditions for Luq Ali Legal Services 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the provision of medical negligence solicitor services (hereinafter referred to as “Services”) by Luq Ali Legal Services (hereinafter referred to as “The Solicitor”) to the client (hereinafter referred to as “The Client”). By engaging The Solicitor’s Services, The Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

2.1 The Solicitor will provide legal services related to medical negligence claims, including but not limited to consultation, legal advice, case assessment, negotiation, litigation, and representation, as appropriate.

2.2 The Solicitor will perform the Services diligently, competently, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 The Client agrees to pay The Solicitor the fees and expenses as outlined in the Fee Agreement provided by The Solicitor. The Fee Agreement will specify the basis for fees, including any conditional fee arrangement (no win, no fee), success fees, or other applicable arrangements.

3.2 The Client agrees to make all payments promptly and in accordance with the terms specified in the Fee Agreement.

4. Client’s Responsibilities

4.1 The Client agrees to cooperate fully with The Solicitor, provide all necessary information, documents, and instructions, and attend meetings and hearings as required.

4.2 The Client agrees to inform The Solicitor promptly of any changes in circumstances or information that may affect the case.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 The Solicitor will treat all information provided by The Client as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without The Client’s consent, except where required by law or for the purpose of providing legal services.

6. Termination

6.1 Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice to the other party. The Client will be responsible for paying any fees and expenses incurred up to the date of termination.

6.2 The Solicitor may terminate the engagement if The Client fails to cooperate, breaches these Terms, or if The Solicitor determines, in their professional judgment, that it is not in the best interest of The Client to continue representation.

7. Liability and Indemnity

7.1 The Solicitor will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing Services. However, The Solicitor will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond their control.

7.2 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold The Solicitor harmless against any claims, costs, losses, or damages incurred as a result of The Client’s actions, omissions, or instructions.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

8.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1 The Solicitor reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The Client will be notified of any changes in writing.

10. Entire Agreement

10.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between The Client and The Solicitor, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.

By engaging The Solicitor’s Services, The Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
